This past Friday January 22 we had the first youth Black Belt test of 2010. Angelo Sbardella was promoted to First Degree Black Belt, he is a great representation of Team Empire.
I am so proud of of Angelo. He has completed a rigorous training regime encompassing all ranges of self defense. He was tested on Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu jitsu, reactive self defense and mixed martial arts.
Our Black Belt Champions and Leadership training has helped Angelo develop greater self-control and self-discipline in everything he does. Angelo demonstrated how our training instills confidence through positive coaching, lot’s of encouragement and a powerful mentoring relationship with role model leaders.
Angelo is now one of three role youth models for the other children in the Black Belt Champions program to follow. He has earned the honor and distinction to be addressed as Mr. Sbardella.
It was just an awesome day and words can’t convey how proud I was of Angelo. It was a another great day in Empire Martial Arts history.
